Paul first came on board during the Specialized 2 campaign as the Technical Manager for the Big One 2 Festival. A musician and audio engineer, Paul did his first international tour at the tender age of sixteen and has played drums on a long list of recordings, most recently with Roddy Byers Skabilly Rebels.
He has lectured Music Technology & Music Industry having spent a life long career in studio recording, live sound, and broadcast engineering. It’s this breadth of experience and skills that he enthusiastically donates to The Specialized Project.

During the Mad Not Cancer year he project managed the compilation of the Mad Not Cancer album, he now project manages the production of all our tribute albums. Though you’ll rarely see a photo of Paul you’ve possibly heard him as the voice of the ‘Meet the Artists’ video series.

Paul now project manages all of our tribute albums and is responsible for all aspects of production. He is the Technical Manager for The Big One Festival, where he is responsible for sourcing all the technical requirements for the Festival including PA, backline and crew. He also oversees our website, Specialized Records, Specialized Radio and is an integral part of Specialized forward planning.

Paul alter ego ‘The Tinkerman’ is the producer behind releases by The Skapones. Including two number one’s in the iTunes reggae charts
